The first weekend of festivities will be marked by sports and charity events.

Runners will appreciate the itinerary of the "Rock 'n' Roll Nice 10 Miles du Carnaval" race which will offer exceptional views of the famous Promenade des Anglais and the Bay of Angels.

For the entire duration of the race, atmosphere will be created not only by the live musical bands but also by the spectators who will cheer you along to the finishing line Place Masséna.

The hardiest will also be able to take part in the Zumba session and the traditional Carnival dip, both organised in aid of sick children.
